Virtualization Group - Boston will hold our first of many monthly virtualization training and networking meetings. We are going to have a very special guest presenting to us from Seattle Washington. We will start off the meeting with “What’s in the News” along with Networking and Q & A. We will jump into the heart of the presentation at or slightly before 7pm. Though we will typically have two topics per night, we will only have one on this night due to the popularity of the topic, we want to have plenty of time for Q&A.
The Microsoft Hyper-V Product team will be presenting on What’s New in Virtualization on Windows Server 2008 R2
There are many changes in Windows Server 2008 R2. We will take a close look at the many changes with Microsoft’s next Windows Server OS as it pertains to virtualization. Don’t miss this opportunity to be one of the first to see what’s coming in the new Hypervisor on Windows Server 2008 R2. In this session, Bryon Surace will be covering what's new in Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V and Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 R2. We will be looking at the next generation of Hyper-V feature-by-feature including a Live Migration demo. There will be time at the end of the presentation for questions and active dialog.
We hope to see you there!
