While VDI is probably in your future, it can seem like a daunting undertaking, from both the financial and project perspectives. This talk will explore how to approach the task of improving the way in which you get compute cycles to your users, in many cases, starting with systems that you already own. The journey to VDI can start with a single desktop and we’ll discuss techniques for how to pick that one and then decide what to do next. A process of identifying the needs of the different communities of users in your organization and then sorting out how to meet them will be examined. There are many ways to get the job done and you’ll likely need more than one.
