This session has limited seating and requires advance signup! You must also provide your own laptop. Your laptop needs a remote desktop client and will be used only for access.
Windows Server 2008 R2 has updated and expanded Remote Desktop Services (new name for Terminal Services) to include the ability to create Virtual Desktop Pools. This provides a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution using tools native to the Windows Operating System. In this session, we will cover how to setup the different components of RDS on Windows Servers running on Microsoft’s Hyper-V. At the end of the session, we should be able to browse to the RDS Broker and connect to one of the virtual desktops running in the host. Bring your laptop to experience it live.
